Change is coming our way. So, let’s get in shape for the future. This also applies to us. Although traditionally we will meet again at Kasteel Wittenburg in Wassenaar, the working language this year will be English. This broadens the scope of possible attendees; as guests of our sponsors, your individual guests or representatives from our Business Members. As usual we are preparing a great evening; in ambiance, food and speakers.

The theme of this year is: ๐’๐‡๐€๐๐ˆ๐๐† ๐”๐ ๐…๐Ž๐‘ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐…๐”๐“๐”๐‘๐„

We all feel, more than ever, that the business as well as Macro Economic challenges are intensifying. It forces us to think about collective change. Technology is crucial for a better future, but how do we learn from the past ? Can humans keep up with technology and what does it bring us? How do we ensure that we think and act in a future-oriented way? Telecom plays a crucial role, but it may also be ‘stuck’. Striking a balance between technological progress and conscious management of challenges is essential for an innovative and sustainable future, acknowledging both the pain and the gain of our choices.

Our first speaker is Tessa Cramer (PhD), sociologist and futurist, brings a refreshing view of the future. Under the motto "๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐›๐ž ๐๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐๐ข๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐š๐ค๐ž๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ž", she challenges existing ways of thinking. She emphasizes the power of imagination, especially in this rapidly changing world. Tessa Cramer helps you distinguish between important and urgent matters, and shows how with today's busy schedules, it's easy to lose sight of the long term. She does not present elusive visions of the future but encourages broader reflection on what is technologically and socially possible. This keynote will broaden your thinking and inspire you to work with the future.

Our second keynote speaker will be Doron Hacmon. He is a business executive and also an Adjunct Professor for Innovation. He will take us on a journey through time and into the future around the theme of “Who is having your lunch for breakfast”. While people are trying to defend their industry lines and business rational, others innovate and start swimming in their sim lanes. When they do that, they are changing the value chain and causing a de-facto commoditization. Some companies are at best aware of that. At worst, the process is happening under their noses. New technologies as Generative AI will also have an impact. How to steer, innovate and shape up for the Future?

To pursue our new tradition, we will also have a guest moderator from one of our Business members. This year Steven Kroon – VodafoneZiggo – will moderate the evening with Yvonne Schers. We will also announce the 2023 winner of our guest moderators and thank the resigning Board Members, Eric van Soest and Arjen Mossinkoff.
